Child growth milestones

My son is 5 months and 15 days old now. When does a kid start sitting? Any recommended excercise/activity we need to do at this stage?

Babies can sit with support at 6 months and without support by 7 months although it can take a month more. No exercise should be done and let the child grow at his own pace. There is no advantage of attaining milestones earlier.

Tummy time can be practised. No excercise should be done. Baby can be stimulated by colourful toys and by talking or reading to the baby. Each child attains milestone at their own pace.

Usually the child sits with support by 6 months You can place pillows around the baby or make the baby sit in the corner of sofa with supervision
