My son fell down while playing. He hit at some solid structure due to which a black spot emerged at his cheeks with swelling. The incident took place day before yesterday. Now swelling is coming down and black spot is moving towards eyes. Do I need to see medical help or it will heel by self? Any ointment for such injuries to remove blood clotting or prevention?

As per history given by you.. the swelling is due to soft tissue injury with hematoma ( blood collection) Is there any other injury, decrease or painful movement at jaw or any other symptom..?
