My nephew is 2 years 8 months old, he hardly speaks anything coherently. He can say Papa and Mama. He also says complete ABCD and 1 to 10 (due to youtube poems). He also avoids eye contact and doesnt understand general spoken instructions. But understands keywords like chocolate or water. Nothing else looks strange. Very normal behavior and understands hand gestures properly. Is this normal? Or can there be any issue?

Hi, More detailed history required. Child needs to be thoroughly examined and analysed , meet a nearby paediatrician or consult online.
