My husband has chicken pox last 2 days. Today is 3rd day and itchiness level is high and having also pain what should i do to prevent this.. and i also want to know should he drink cold water or normal water? And in which time he will get well?

HELLO, TABLET ATREX25MG ONE AT NIGHT FOR TEN DAYS ABOLISHED ITCHING.N INDUCED SLEEP. IN DAY IF NEEDED TAKE TABLET CETRIZINE AFTE LUNCH SO NO ITCH N SLEEP COMFORTABLE. TABLET SIGMOFLAM TWO TIMES A DAY AFTER LUNCH AND DINNER TO REDUCE PAIN , DRY THE SCARS. TABLET AZITHROMYCIN 500 AS PNEUMONIA IS VERY COMMON WITH THIS.FOR SEVEN TO TEN DAYS.ONE PER DAY. O.K, BYE.

You can give him cetrizine tablets  twice daily  for the itching. For pain give Dolo  650 mg tabs. Let him drink  normal water only. It will take  3 weeks for him to recover  completely.
