Having chicken pox... having pain n worried for having their marks.. kindly help me on this.. as I am worried.. and I HV a 2yrs baby so how much time I need to keep away her from me as it has been 8 days..

Hi Chicken pox is a viral disease which presents with appearance of itchy red blisters all over the body accompanied with fever. These rashes further turn pinkish, filled with fluid and burst, finally healing with a rash. The rash disappears after 1 - 2 months. The treatment include pain reliever and skin soothing lesions. Please stay away from your baby till the disease is completely cured. Please see a General Medicine doctor for further evaluation and management.
