It could be stridor or noisy breathing due to laryngomalacia , a congenital condition of the larynx or voice box. This is one of the commonest causes of noisy breathing and is exacerbated when the child cries or lies prone. This condition is usually benign and resolves by 18 months of age. You must get your child checked by your paediatrician to make sure it is not interfering with breathing or feeding.

Hello. As per your complaints, You need to get a detailed check up of your child. Is your child having any choking sensation? Do you suspect your child having difficulty in breathing? Does your child have feeding difficulties? Is he lethargic? If so, please get him checked at the earliest.
