I woke up this morning with a slight pain in my chest, and on through out the day it's stayed in my chest but spread to under my right rib cage, and onto my right shoulder blade. But it only hurts when I take deep breaths, or run.

Hello,  There could be many causes of such trouble. Get a chest xray done and consult a pulmonologist.
