Hi, i am suffering from constant burping, pain in centre of chest, bloating etc. from past many years. Recently through endoscopy i am diagnosed with Hiatus Hernia and Weak LES. My food use to come up if i eat and sleep. But now i have changed my lifestyle and do not eat hours before sleep. Bed elevation etc. I am taking PPI from last 6 months but as soon as i stop taking i get my symptoms back badly. Can you please suggest should i go for surgery? Should i go for different medicine than PPI and

If you are having this for many years and from Ur description surgery is good option provided there are no past medical issues which might increase risk of anaesthesia and surgery.
