Chest Pain and Soles of feet getting hot
Mom has experienced twice an issue that while sleeping when she has slept on the right side, she experienced a severe pain in the centre of her chest. If she then lies flat then the pain goes away. And it is very random because it doesn't happen always. I was suspecting heartburn so i gave her rantac 300.

Another issue she is facing is that the soles of her feet get hot at times and she gets the sensation as if the feet are swollen or at times tingling sensation. After a while it will automatically get better.

The chest pain on turning to the right side might be indicated of costochondritis in which the junction between the rib and the sternal bone might be inflamed causing that pain which is unpredictable however since the patient's age is above 70 years you need to be cautious about the possibility of a a heart condition which need to be evaluated thoroughly
