Change in menstrual cycle

For the past three months, a week leading up to my period I get pregnancy symptoms which has never happened before. My periods have started being extremely heavy and are lasting up to 10 days instead of the usual 4-5 and is very painful. I have discharge almost daily and sometimes it is accompanied by spotting. I feel generally unwell and have bad headaches.
