Chalky white and brown strain
Hello docs,
My 32 month old daughter has some white chalky strains on her teeth n a bit of brown strains on from tooth. Does this signifies tooth decay. I brush her teeth in night before sleep she is not ready to brush in morning. I really worry about teeth decay. What should be done to avoid it.
She weighs 10kgs.

This is caries only,. Please use gauze to remove the food debris from the teeth after every meal. Go for remineralisation paste ( Kidodent or Cheerio red or colgate kids or GC moouse). Avoid sticky sugary snacks. Please clean the tongue too. It is advisable for a parent to help in brushing till age 10.Avoid Bootle feed at night or please clean the teeth before she sleeps.

This is called fluorosis that happens to toddlers below 8 yrs.. because of swallowing tooth paste or excess intake of fluoride through water or food..

visit dentist for fluoride application every 6 months interval as she completes 3 years.. this is painless gel application only..start brushing after 3 yrs of age..

make sure that ur child doesn't swallow toothpaste during brushing..

Brush in the morning as well.
It can be stains or caries. Can be decided on clinical examination.
