Cavity or stains
My 15 months old daughter has white patches on the upper central incisor, there was some black stain as well which has lightened now. She takes formula milk and food such as cereals, dalia, rice etc. We dont include anything having sugar in her diet, not sure if the marks are a sign of cavity. Attached are few images, can somebody guide if it is a cavity or just a normal white patch. If it is a cavity, what can be done to control this as brushing is very difficult in this age.

Hello sir,
The white and brown patches that can be seen in the photos are the precursors of caries.(tooth decay). As your daughter is 15months old,pls start using a finger toothbrush for her.. maintaining oral hygiene at this age is important too. After her last feeding round, pls use a clean wet napkin around your finger to wipe her jaws and teeth. Or at least make her drink some water after her formula milk feed.
