Cavity Near Wisdom Tooth
I am suffering from mouth pain near left side wisdom tooth. I am not sure if it is a tooth problem or something else. I visited Vasan Dental Clinic, they informed that there is a Cavity near Wisdom tooth. I am not sure if this is true as I don't trust them. The doctor was not mature enough. Initially she dint say anything and when i said i have pain then she said there is a cavity.
Today i met another doctor and he informed me that the pain i have is not because of this cavity as the cavity is on right side as per xray and pain is on left side and it cannot be a referral pain.
Can you please check the X-Ray and let me know as which side the cavity is in real.
Seeing OPG surely right upper and lower wisdom teeth needs removal, as the right lower wisdom tooth is hitting the front tooth and clearly on radiograph can be seen on the next tooth because of the wisdom tooth.
But as you said you are having pain in left side, I could notice proximal decay on the left lower second molar tooth adjacent to the wisdom tooth. To tell you precisely, radiograph of single tooth needs to be taken.

First of all we need to know what kind of pain you are having because that may be the key to diagnosis as the wisdom tooth usually have one or more reasons for pain. Localised pain is gum pain and Radiating pain is usually pain due to cavity or decay. It does look like you have a pocket on the mesial side of left lower molar though the pain you are mentioning seems to be coming due to decay. This may have confused the doctors. There is definitely a decay on the right side between 2nd and 3rd molar but left side though shows traces might need an IOPAR (Specific xray)
