Cavity in a 11 year old

2018-06-19 11:32:59
Hello, My 11 year old brother has two cavities between his fifth and sixth tooth of both sides and a pimple like thing beneath the left one. He went to a dentist who said that we don't need to do anything and that they're milk teeth and they'd come out in some time. But the teeth still aren't even a bit loose and show no sign of falling. He's experiencing pain since yesterday and a pimple on his lip. Is this something to worry about? Or should we give him a crocin and wait for the teeth to fall out?

All the decayed tooth has to be treated. Cannot be excused for some reason or the other. It needs a thorough pediatric approach in case of child management.

If the dentist has just seen him then you can wait for some time. If the tooth is paining a lot and it is a milk tooth it can be removed if required. The pimple on the lip has to be seen to comment if it is related to an infection in the tooth or not
