Cataract and Glucoeauma

My left eye developed cataract and needs to be operated as required. I do have glucoeauma. This is persisting for the last 2 years and has been under proper medical attention. Now I have been advised for cataract operation and chanalling for glucoma. However, I wud like to go in for Cataract only. I do have have mediclaim from National Insurance and therefore wud like to go in for CASHLESS facility. Need appointment and advice.

dr rathore.is right.moreover if IOP is still not controlled then you have the choice to use the Medici or go for surgery. one more option may be to get laser iridtomy and/or laser trabeculoplasty done before the cat.surgery. consult with your  surgeon, but it's better to plan one surgery at.a time .

Looking at your history I would suggest go for Cataract alone for now. Most of the cases dont require a combined Cataract and Glaucoma procedure. Go ahead with your cataract Surgery. It can be done under cashless scheme abywhere where insurance facility is available.
