I'm suffering from vaginal itch, rectal itch, lower back pain and sometimes white discharge. Did a stool test which says plenty gram negative bacilli and plenty gram positive bacilli, few gram positive budding yeast cells seen, culture showed candida kefyr. Actually it all starts with lower back pain and pain near and slightly below the button on the right side. Ever since I started taking triphala churna, I see a lot of white specks in my stool, some big and small. Even after taking antifungals I see them in stool. My itching worsens after passing stool. I was put on antifungals itraconazole 200 mg twice daily for 8 days, ketoconazole 200 mg twice daily for 5 days, and now on fluconazole 150 mg twice daily for a week. Recent course of antibiotics worsened my problem (was given hifen lxx and ciplox tz) I'm fearing if I have intestinal candidasis along with vaginal candidasis? What tests can be done to check for intestinal yeast overgrowth and how is it treated. Please help
