Can i break Nebicard tablet and take?

Doctor suggested 1/2 dosage of Nebicard 5mg. Is it ok to break the tablet into half and take? Or should i buy 2.5mg tablet?

It is preferred to get 2.5 Nebicard tablet. If not available you can break it and take.
