I am a mother of a 12 year old boy. My so has ended up with a pimple in the left eye since yesterday. It is getting too painful. Can this eye pimple be treated with medicine or does it need to removed by some minor surgery or something? Can this pimple affect his vision?

Hi, if it non infected pimple you do not need to worry as it will heal spontaneously. Keep hands clean, don't touch or irritate pimple.Can clean with diluted antiseptic ,avoid eyes.see for one/two days if it improves.Visit doctor,in case of any changes in shape, colour ,pain etc. Regards Dr Punit Dubey Facial Plastic Surgeon
