Hello For c3r, corneal thickness should be more than 400 micron ( epithelial off) Hypotonic dye is used if corneal thickness is less than 400 micron There are other techniques also along with hypotonic dye for thin cornea

Hi... The doctor will decide about the method for C3R depending on thickness. More than 400 - routine,  else hypersonic saline or by other method .

C3R is used to prevent any further thinning in case of keratoconus. Corneal thickness is a criteria for refractive surgery and not C3R.
