Based on how it looks, this appears to be a second‑degree (partial‑thickness) scald burn, which is common with hot tea. In most babies: Mild second‑degree burns heal in about 7–14 days Deeper second‑degree burns may take 2–3 weeks As long as the wound is kept clean, covered, and not infected, it should heal on its own. The skin may look pink or darker at first after healing this is normal and usually improves over several weeks to months. Complete return to normal skin color can take 3–6 months, sometimes longer.

Difficult to say exactly how long, as it depends on extent and depth of burn. In a baby it should be faster, but continue regular dressing.
