Burn on right leg due to hot water
On 11th Dec Suffered a burn due to hot boiling water had fallen on right leg below knee. Approached a doctor who prescribed Zymoflam-D and Bactoclav-625 tablets along with silverex ionic ointment for 10 days. Now the tablets are over. Now there is some swelling and the burns have turned reddish having lot of pain especially while standing or walking. Occasionally some puss is also coming out. Shall we continue the tablets or wait for aelf healing. Can you suggest any better medicine for reduction in swelling and fast healing.
Seems like Grade III burns involving the entire layers of skin. This would need debridement and dressings/ collagen application or kin graft based on depth of wound
