A one-off brown spot at 35 weeks with no pain or fresh bleeding is usually not urgent and can happen after cervical touching or minor mucus changes. Still, any third-trimester spotting deserves a same-day check with your obstetrician.
Next Steps
Please call your obstetrician today for a quick check and, if needed, a scan to confirm placenta position and baby's wellbeing.
Health Tips
Go to labour and delivery immediately if you see fresh red bleeding, contractions, leaking fluid, or reduced baby movements.
