Hi. I understand your concern s. Asthma is a chronic disease which can not be cured but can definitely be controlled so that you can have a symptom free life ahead for which you will need to be under regular follow up with a pulmonologist. You will need to undergo pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of asthma based on which treatment can be started. Consult a pulmonologist allergist for the same at the earliest.
