I am 16 and had a both-bone forearm fracture on 31 August, which was reduced and treated with a long-arm plaster cast. My recent follow-up X-ray was about 1 week ago and I was told the alignment was fine. Today, at around 4 weeks after the fracture, I moved my whole casted arm from approximately 90° to around 110° relative to the ground. During the movement I felt mild-to-moderate pain in a very small area of the upper forearm/below the wrist, but the pain suddenly disappeared while I was still moving the arm. After that, the previous muscle pain/discomfort around my shoulder also suddenly disappeared, and my hand felt noticeably better. At the same time, the plaster suddenly started feeling less snug throughout the arm, although it is not obviously sliding or rotating. I also notice a familiar nerve-irritation/goosebump or moving sensation when I move my fingers, but there is no persistent numbness or tingling.
