My father had an accident and broke his fore arm i have seen the xray it has been broken in such a way that a small piece of a bone has got detached from one single bone . So is surgery required in this case if yes which one , or plaster would suffice

Normally when fracture fragments are displaced than that need to be done through open reduction internal fixation that is surgery
