Breathing problem

My mother suffers from breathing problem for which due to rapid water accumulation in lungs and for this co2 gets confined inside the lungs resulting in drowsiness and state of unconscoiusness. Doctors have carried out Pneumonia, bronchites, BNP, biopsy tests thrice till date over a period of 15 days but all are negative. Could please please advice what could be the reason and how it should be treated.

What's your s mothers weight.  Does she snore at night. Does she always  feel sleepy in day. Any previous disease for which she in medications.
