Breastfeeding and sleeping
Hlo doctor, my 44 day old baby is sleeping only if she keeps her lips in sucking position over my nipples most of the time, mainly during nights. Is it OK?, And she is taking breastfeeding for half an hour to 1 hr. There is no problem in lactation. Is it OK? Pls advise

See we advice suck swallow ratio , every suck followed by swallowing atleast 2 sucks to be followed by 1 swallowing , if this is not happening baby is using nipple as pacifier , no need to encourage that ,if sucking no followed by swallowing no need to offer your breast.
