Hi. Thank you for sharing your inner world. I’m sorry that you are struggling with anxiety and have not found a psychologist yet with whom you feel comfortable.
Yet, it is courageous of you to seek professional help.
It is not necessary/ important that your counselor/ therapist is the same personality “type” as yours. What is important is at least a Masters Degree in Psychology, accurate kindness, empathy, support and understanding of you and your issues + their capacity/ capability to help you. A psychologist can be the right fit for you even if their personality type isn’t exactly like yours.
That said, for anxiety, feel free to try
1. Deep breathing exercises
2. Grounding techniques right before or during panic attacks
3. Yoga/ tai chi
4. Journaling your thoughts and fears
5. Reaching out to a trusted adult
6. Consistent sleep wake routine
7. A healthy balanced and nutritious diet
8. Check your vit D/ vit
b12 levels
9. Counseling/ psychotherapy with a psychologist
10. Medication from a psychiatrist
