Age 55,both kidney failure,report stage - final,at present on dialysis.Kindly suggest best options.CBC & renal profile attached.What is the possibility of survival if dialysis continues.

First we have to ascertain the cause of renal failure. Get an ultrasound of kidney done If the cause is medical ( due to Diabetes/ Hypertension etc) then renal transplant is the final treatment option with very good outcome and survival. Till transplant Workup is being done dialysis will be done once or twice weekly as advised by nephrologist If patient remains on dialysis and does not undergo transplant then average survival is 3-5 years with increasing risk with each dialysis I will advise to consider renal transplant
