Both Ears blocked

A month back i went to a doctor because my ears were blocked. Then he asked me for nose endoscopy and said ventilation to left ear was blocked so he gave few medicines along with furamist spray. After this my ear was fine. Now from 3 days i have ear blockage. Today i went to same doctor, audiometry was done my right ear almost 30%hearing loss and left almost 20% hearing loss. Now he wants me to go for CT scan. I am bit confused. please help me out

If audiogram is showing significant decrease in hearing which is sensory neural type then this condition is known as sudden sensorineural hearing loss. This has to be evaluated in detail and usually MRI scan is taken to rule out any causes in the brain. Immediate treatment needs to be started to avoid permanent hearing loss
