Please guide in the following details- Fasting plasma glucose - 105.8 mg/dl Post prandial plasma glucose - 117.2 mg/dl I'm 34 years of age. The Doc has informed me to take glycomet tablet in the morning.

Hello.....  At this age chance of type 2 diabetes is unlike cause..  Repeat test  once again..  Or else glucose tolerance test gives better picture..  Repeat the test and take tablets..  If your diabetes is confirmed it's better to take insulin injection than antidiabetic medicine..  It helps in long run...
