Hello,
I understand your concern.
You had TB of the Hip joint in 2007 when your age was approximately 11-12 yrs. Considering you had taken complete treatment and it hasnt recurred till now in past 13 yrs and that you have no symptoms, it is a very positive sign.
I am sure you must have done xrays and follow up treatment upto few years post your treatment for TB hip and all showed improvement. It will be advisable to do a consult with me so I can look at these xrays and suggest future prognosis.
It is a good sign that you are all right till now for so long and your prognosis is very good according to what you have mentioned. However, once a joint or bone is infected there is always a chance for re-infection or re-occurence when the immunity is poor. So it is advisable to boost up your immunity and eat healthy
Nothing needs to be done until you are symptomatic or have any discomfort.
Advice for you -
1. Keep close observation on your symptoms or discomfort if any develops.
2. Improve your immunity by healthy habits
3. Eat healthy, stay fit
4. Continue exercises and stay active
5.At any instance of a doubt consult us.
