Bone loss problem

Im having bone loss in front part of my jaw dentist says that it is due to infection , dentist have given me metronidazole 400mg tablets . Can this tablets stop the infection and bone loss of my mouth

It can stop infection but not bone loss. Once the bone is lost it has to be seen whether the bone grows on a physiological basis. If there is an underlying pathology the bone loss can be stopped. Augmentation of the lost bone regeneration is a different procedure altogether.
