Hello madam,,, for thin hair line fractures, with no displacement, there is no need for surgery only proper immobilization of your wrist with plaster caste or fiberglass plaster is enough for at least 3 weeks. And most of people after proper immobilization and recovery,,, return to normal wrist activities even though some stiffness is common which recovers slowly over months. Your doctor will do followup x-ray,, and will check for progress and will treat accordingly.
