Different body surfaces have different body temperatures. For accurate measurement of surface temperatures, use only your armpits. Normal temperature should be between 98.2 +/- 0.7 degrees F. The maximum permissible normal ORAL temperature is 6am temp of 98.9 F and 4pm Temp of 99.9. Donot worry if temperature varies between these limits.
Next Steps
Keep a temperature chart from a single site of measurement.

Check oral temperature which is accurate than axial(armpit), if armpit taken then add 1 degree F to temp you got and dont worry about vaccination, take dolo if you had fever

First of all you have taken 1st dose that means you r well protected if you follow covid norms strictly. Secondly temp gun is not an accurate to guide about fever, use thermometer although it is also not accurate but still much better than a gun. Most imp is your symptoms. If you r felling no symptoms you doesnt need to worry.
