I would advise you to visit the ER and get evaluated and undergo the necessary investigations to find the underlying cause of the problem and have it treated. Since you're a diabetic you should regularly check your eyes as you're at risk of having retinopathy and also other problems such as peripheral neuropathy(nerve damage), cardiac problems, etc.
