Blood test

I met a dermatologist for a skin problem. He said its a viral infection and since it was recurring I should get some tests done. One of them was HBSAG, which I later found out is a blood test for Hepatitis B. 2 years ago, I had taken vaccine for Hepatitis A and B (3 doses) . Should I get this HBSAG test done.

Taking a vaccine usually causes body to develop protective antibodies. You can ask the doctor if you can get the antibody titres instead of the HBsAg test.
