Hello doctor We had done fasting blood sugar test for my husband 42yrs the result is showing 285mg/dl, Let us know Wat that means and how severe the stage and if curable by medicine and how long it will take to get this lowered or cured. Thanks and regards

It is severe hyperglycemia.yes its curable with medicines.results u can see within 4-5 days of starting the treatment .. one more thing diabetes can be reversed in certain cases in that u need to see me and we can discuss everything in accordance to her sugar status. Thnks
