Blood sugar
Hello doctor my mother was recently diagnosed with covid 19 currently she is on oxygen at home isolation after hospitalisation. Today her bsf was 99 and bsr is 365 . So my question is why is there so much difference between the two tests. She did bsf at morning 10 am and bsr at evening 5 pm . Thank you

Depens upon the food which she had taken previously .. Is she on steroids ? Age nd other comorbidities ? Height nd weight ? Need detailed history with Hba1c test, fbs and ppbs... . Pls contact..

Hi. Is she on steroid treatment now? Steroid therapy increases her blood sugars. If not on steroids, then medicines need to be adjusted for increase in sugars after food which we call as postprandial hyperglycemia.
