From 3-4 years I have been noticing red spots in my stool.sometimes there's normal stool and sometimes it's loose. I had my colonoscopy done which was normal. I had occult stool blood test done which came negative but I still notice some red spots in stool. Today I had loose stool with mucus. I don't understand whether it is normal or something serious?

Hello dear In case of further similar episodes, stool examination and imaging will be needed to come to a diagnosis as colonoscopy is grossly normal
