I have throat infection since yesterday... Today morning while spitting there was a blood in my sputum... Is it because of throat infection??.. Am a smoker... Any advise please

Did u cough deeply before this. It can be because of a prolonged or severe cough, Bronchitis, Bronchiectasis, A severe nosebleed, anticoagulant, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, Pulmonary edema, TB, Cancer etc. I need details of case.
