It has been 24 days after delivery, till now bleeding has not stopped? few days back i hav noticed spotting i thought it will stop but till nw it hasn't stopped yet. why it is so?

Bleeding after delivery till now is to be taken seriously.. See your obstetrician...She will evaluate you completely.. Labour,its progress, placenta,cleans while delivery, are all important. She will get a scan done to rule out retained products..dont wait...

Dear Practo user, Get ultrasound of lower abdomen and show to the Obstetrician. Sometimes, a piece of placenta (after birth) may remain in uterus and cause prolonged bleeding. Examination by Obstetrician is advisable.
