Black birth mark on arm

Since birth I have this black pigmented sort of birthmark on my left arm... I want to get rid of it... Please suggest

Hi Birthmarks are of different types and treatment will depend on type as well as size of the mark. Photograph was needed to comment on specific treatment. Birthmarks are better left alone. Surgical excision or Laser are few of the options. Please consult a dermatologist to discuss suitable treatment options for you.
