A little over a year ago I had my daughter at 24 weeks and 4 days due to an incompetent cervix. I am not exploring birth control options and I like the copper IUD but I have also read stories about individuals with my same issues getting the IUD in their abdomen. Is this something I should worry about due to my condition? Or is a copper IUD a safe option for me?
