I got my Kyleena IUD inserted 5 days ago while I was on my period and had unprotected sex. What are the chances that I will get pregnant? And should I take a plan b? The doctor said wait 7 days

Usually it takes a month for the IUD to start showing contraceptive effect , so I guess the plan b would have been advisable According to me as when I insert IUD I always ask my patients to take OCPs for the first month .
