My mother in law 62 yrs old had gone through bipolar ortho surgery. I just want to know when will she can walk and do her daily routine activities.

Hi, Normally patient is made to walk the next day of surgery with the help of a walker However, send me a X-ray pre-op and post-op Consult directly

Depending on the bone quality n fixation weight bearing depends but mostly we can make her walk very next day of surgery .

Hello Usually after bipolar hemiarthroplasty patient is made to walk within 2-3 days.
