I am currently taking Lutada for Bipolar/Schizoaffect Disorder and I do not like it as it makes me extremely sleepy to where I can't function for a good 5/8 of the day. It is effective in controlling my moods and audible hallucinations but I am in school and need to be functioning and not sleeping 15-20 hours/ day. Can you recommend any medications that will help me funciton in every day life without horrible side effects such a drowsiness, weight gain, drooling on myself, etc.?
