Bell's palsy occurs due to involvement of Facial nerve...which supplies part of our face, lips and eyelids etc. The cause could often be idiopathic or unknown. You should consult a neurologist for this. Steroids of course are one modality of treatment. But a proper evaluation is of utmost importance.

You might be harbouring some virus so go for check up and investigations. You may consult if required.

As per your complaint  recurrent bells palsy is a serious  issue...and needs through  evaluation including your lifestyles pattern..and cannot be recommended for a rather inconclusive advice...so the only reasonable way is to get physical examination  done and as for now start ur medication

As a eNT surgeon I can guide you that it seems like muscular twitching instead of Bell’s palsy . Had u consulted a dr who diagnosed u as a case of Bell’s palsy. Such recurrent episodes r very rare in case of Bell’s palsy. Due u have a history of purulent ear disease or lesion in pinna or face. Do u recently met a accident leading to injury over face and head. Few more other things to rule out before a clear diagnosis.
