Recently USG of KUB of my father gave following report: - Moderate prostatic hyper trophy noticed - few irregular bright echoic, small, calcific specks seen in prostate - basal prostatic impression noted in urinary bladder Prostate measures 4.6 x 4.6 x 4.4 cms. Prostatic volume is 49 ccc Full bladder urinary volume 243 ccc Post void urinary volume 93 ccc I am more worried on what basal prostatic impression means? Is it serious?

He is have more post void residue .. That means he has obstruction to flow.. Now the treatment depends on symptoms. And further tests and examinations Consult urologist and discuss in detail about further plan basal impression and other issues he will explain together..
