First of you should know allergic reaction is a chronic condition so yiu have to some precautions to get rid from it.
1. Wash your eyes thoroughly when ever you come home from outside so that all allergens are washed away.
2. Don't rub vigorously because it'll incite more allergic reaction & it may cause changes in your eye sight or power. You may press your eyes with hands at the time of itching.
3. Put ice pack on your closed eyes. It'll give some comfort.
4. Check your eye sight by any Ophthalmologist & wear glasses accordingly. If your vision is normal then also wear eye glasses without power when you go out side just as a protection against allergens like dust , pollen e.t.c.
5. Use " Olopatadine DS " ( double strength) eye drop twice daily for two weeks. If symptoms don't subside then please go to any Ophthalmologist as you may require soft steroid eye drop in tapering doses. But Ophthalmologist must check all the required parameters like corneal condition, intra ocular pressure e.t.c before prescribing it.
